Fun! Make your own models online using springs controlled by waves that simulate muscles. Models can walk, bounce, roll, slide, etc.. You can adjust gravity, friction, spring strength, wave amplitute, etc. It is a blast!
SymmTime
Hey! Do you know the time? Download SymmTime 2003 and have your computer synchronize to the world's time services using NTP (Network Time Protocol) servers accessible from your computer. This nifty application is free and can be used in any windows PC environment (Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems). It will also tell you the time in any desired locations across the globe.
GeoClock
This is a wonderful piece of software. GeoClock shows the current time (based on your computer's clock) with a high quality map of the earth. It is used by such organizations as the CIA and National Geographic film makers. The current sun position is displayed, and the parts of the earth in sunlight and twilight are highlighted. This display is automatically updated every few seconds. Local sunrise, sunset, the sun's azimuth and elevation, and times around the world are also displayed. A large variety of maps (with a zoom feature) and other options are selectable. Both DOS and Windows 3.x versions are included with registration. I use the Windows version and I have it setup as my screensaver with it randomly selecting one of a number of views of the Earth from space. You really MUST check this out.
